Privacy Policy

STROKES is designed so your golf data stays close to you. This policy explains what the app handles, where it lives and the choices you control.

1. Who we are

STROKES GPD — Golf Performance Diagnostics (“STROKES”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is owned and operated by MrandMrsMuscle FZE, B1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates.

2. The privacy position in plain language

Your game is local by design.

STROKES does not currently require an account, operate a cloud profile service, show advertising, use advertising trackers or sell personal golf data. Core golf information is stored locally within the app on your device.

3. Information the app handles

Depending on the features you choose to use, STROKES may handle information you enter or create, including:

  • an optional first name, handicap, dominant hand, preferred units, language, tracking preferences and golf goals;
  • club and distance information saved in My Bag;
  • courses, tees, round scores, shot details, putting information and optional mental-state entries;
  • practice activity, Training Games, Performance Lab sessions and launch-monitor information you manually enter;
  • Course Strategy information you create;
  • named groups, playing-partner details, group rounds and competition information; and
  • preferences, progress records and other information needed to maintain your local app experience.

Please avoid entering sensitive personal information about yourself or another person that is not needed to use the app.

4. Where your golf data is stored

Your personal golf information is stored in the app’s local storage area on your device. Core golf intelligence runs locally and does not depend on our servers.

If you choose Back Up My Data, STROKES creates a portable backup file. You decide where that file is saved or shared. Once it leaves the app, it is protected by the security and privacy settings of the destination you select, such as your device storage or cloud-drive provider.

5. Subscriptions and app stores

STROKES Pro subscriptions are offered through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. The relevant store processes payment and maintains its own transaction records under its privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

The app receives limited information needed to provide Pro access, such as whether a qualifying subscription is active and the related product identifier. Subscription entitlement is deliberately excluded from portable STROKES backup files.

6. Files and sharing

When you ask STROKES to create a backup, scorecard, report or other export, the app may temporarily create a file and open your device’s native share or file picker. STROKES does not choose the recipient or destination. You control where exported information goes.

7. Analytics, advertising and tracking

The current version of STROKES does not include third-party advertising, behavioural advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. If that position changes in a future version, we will update this policy and make any disclosures or obtain any permissions required by law and the app stores.

8. Why information is used

Locally stored information is used to operate the features you request, preserve your rounds and preferences, present your golf history and progress, support locally generated guidance and enable backup, restore and sharing actions you initiate.

9. Retention and deletion

Your local information remains on your device until you delete individual records, remove the app’s data through your device settings or uninstall the app. Uninstalling normally removes the app’s local data, but it does not delete backup files you previously saved elsewhere.

App-store transaction records are controlled by Apple or Google. Subscription management and transaction-history requests should be handled through the relevant store account.

10. Security and backups

We design STROKES to minimise unnecessary data movement and to rely on platform security protections. No storage method is completely risk-free. Keep your device protected, install operating-system security updates and store exported backup files in a location you trust.

11. Children

STROKES is a general-audience golf application and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly operate an online service that collects personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has contacted us or supplied personal information to us outside the local app, please contact us.

12. International users and legal rights

MrandMrsMuscle FZE is established in the United Arab Emirates. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights concerning personal information held by a business. Because STROKES personal golf data is currently stored locally and we do not operate user accounts, we may not possess the information you see in the app. We will nevertheless respond to legitimate privacy enquiries about information we control.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as STROKES evolves or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy here and change the effective date. Material changes will be communicated in the app when appropriate.
